🏫 Enrollment Information

At New Dawn Charter High School, we make enrollment easy and welcoming. Our goal is to guide you every step of the way with clarity and care.

📌 Step 1: Fill out our online Enrollment Eligibility form by clicking HERE

What you will need to complete the form: 

1. Student Age

2. Total High School Credits Earned

3. Number of Regents Exams Passed

4. Referring School Counselor's Name and Email Address

If the student meets the criteria, you'll be directed to the correct Enrollment page to book an appointment and complete the application. If the student does not meet the criteria, you'll receive instructions on next steps or who to contact for support.

Who Can Apply?

  • Age Requirement: Students must be between 16 and 21 years old.
  • School Requirement: Applicants must have attended at least one year of high school before applying.
  • Credits Requirement: Students are evaluated based on prior earned credits and placed accordingly.

Placement of Students

To ensure each student is placed in the best program for their needs, our team carefully reviews:

  • Academic Transcripts
  • Completed credits and graduation requirements
  • Placement tests

Grade placement is based on the number of accumulated credits:

  • Grade 9: 0-10 credits
  • Grade 10: 11-20 credits
  • Grade 11: 21-32 credits
  • Grade 12: 33+ credits

We work closely with your previous school to ensure all credits are properly evaluated.
